Select imagery and texI was blessed with my first Neuland Markers in May 2017 in Brussels during a meetup which led to co-create European Visual Practitioners community. That day I quit my previous job to become a visual facilitator. Seeing my new peers all working with these markers, large format paper, people talking about pinboards ... I felt an urge to know more.

In the following months and years as I grew, so did my Neuland arsenal: markers in all sizes and color, nifty novario cases to keep things organized, pinboard paper became my go to paper size, a Graphicwall V3 when I need more wall space.

My clients and participants in the sessions I host are all briefed on how special these tools are: empowering them to share their (thin or bold) ideas, putting color on their vision, adding thoughts in all shapes and forms ... and all of that in an environmental way with the water based refillable markers! They see how passionate I am about my tools, love that they have their own Neuland kit for a session to work with, and take on that energy during the session.

My name is Olivier, I am a Visual Facilitator based in France. These past few years I have facilitated a number of projects that brought together my passion for facilitation and cycling. I am known for my Neuland Markers and going everywhere with my Brompton foldable bike. Combined these two give me the versatility I need to be able to host any kind of session.

As a facilitator I rely deeply on my Neuland Markers and tools and that give me the peace of mind to focus on the session. Knowing I have an entire system to fall back on is key, and participants see & appreciate that.
Once after a successful first briefing session, I came back to see my client with their very own Neuland Markers at the second meeting! They had witnessed first hand how important it was in our briefing meeting, had used them and wanted to keep it after the sessions ended. This was the start of a long and fruitfull relationship.

Neuland No.One® is various colors but the colors always on me are: pastel blue (303), pastel green (403), brillant yellow (500) and red orange (601), grey (101)
Always have a Novario® marker box in the middle of the circle, or on tables filled with Neuland FineOne® Outliners for participants
I rely on the pinboard paper size, better suited for my use than normal paperboard
I use a lot of Pin-it oval, and speech bubble on sticky walls for large group sessions
Participants enjoy the nice touch of filling their Namebadge with face when before starting a sessiont that relates to your style and story.
